By accessing and using DubaiBids ("Platform," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

DubaiBids is an online auction platform that enables users to buy and sell items through a bidding process. We provide the technology and platform for users to conduct transactions, but we are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers.

• User verification and authentication

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.1 Account Requirements

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide valid contact information
• One person may only maintain one account
• You must verify your identity for high-value transactions

4. Auction Rules and Bidding

All auctions on DubaiBids are legally binding contracts. By placing a bid, you enter into a contract to purchase the item at your bid price if you are the winning bidder.

4.1 Bidding Rules

• All bids are binding and cannot be retracted
• The highest bidder at auction end wins the item
• Reserve prices may apply to certain auctions
• Bid increments are automatically determined by the system
• Sniping (last-second bidding) is allowed

4.2 Seller Obligations

• Accurate item descriptions and photos
• Honest representation of item condition
• Timely shipping after payment receipt
• Compliance with all applicable laws

5. Payments and Fees

DubaiBids facilitates secure payment processing through escrow services. Payments are held until the buyer confirms receipt and satisfaction with the item.

5.1 Seller Fees

• Listing fees: Free for standard listings
• Final value fee: 5% of the final sale price
• Payment processing fees as applicable
• Optional listing upgrades available

5.2 Payment Terms

• Winners must pay within 24 hours of auction end
• Accepted payment methods: Credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers
• All payments processed in AED (UAE Dirhams)
• Refunds processed according to our refund policy

6. Prohibited Items and Activities

Certain items and activities are prohibited on DubaiBids to ensure user safety and legal compliance.

6.1 Prohibited Items

• Illegal items or services
• Weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• Drugs or controlled substances
• Counterfeit or replica items
• Stolen goods
• Adult content or services
• Live animals
• Hazardous materials

6.2 Prohibited Activities

• Shill bidding or bid manipulation
• Creating multiple accounts
• Circumventing fees
• Harassment or abuse of other users
• Spamming or unsolicited communications

7. Intellectual Property

DubaiBids and its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

9. Dispute Resolution

We provide dispute resolution services to help resolve conflicts between buyers and sellers. Our decisions are final and binding.

9.1 Dispute Process

• Disputes must be reported within 7 days of transaction completion
• We will investigate all claims thoroughly
• Buyers and sellers must provide evidence and cooperate
• Resolution may include refunds, returns, or other remedies

10. Limitation of Liability

DubaiBids acts as an intermediary platform. We are not responsible for the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email and platform announcements. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
